Hugo Hurtado is a partner at BELTRAMIN HURTADO and is in charge of the firm’s tax practice. He specializes in matters related to both Chilean and international taxation, corporate restructuring such as divisions, mergers, acquisitions and transformations of companies as well as estate and gift taxation, among others.
He is a professor of Tax Law I and II at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and of Tax Planning and Restructuring and International Taxation at Universidad Diego Portales.
Mr. Hurtado graduated from the School of Law of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2001 and was sworn in before the Chilean Supreme Court in 2003. In 2006 he obtained a Master of Laws in International Taxation from the University of Florida.
